Microwave Chicken Drumstick Fry Recipe

Ingredients:
Chicken drumsticks : 6 pieces
Lemon juice : 1/2 tbsp
Ginger : 1″piece
Garlic : 6 pods
Green chillies : 4-5
Yogurt : 1cup
Gram flour : 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
Garam masala powder : 1 tsp
Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
Chaat masala powder : 1 tsp (optional)
Butter for basting
Salt to taste

How to make Chicken Drumstick Fry – Microwave version

1. Clean and trim the excess fat and skin from drumsticks. Dry them with a clean and absorbent kitchen towel and make 3 to 4 long and deep incisions.Apply lemon juice and keep aside.

2. Dry roast gram flour on low heat, stirring continously; set aside to cool.
3. Grind ginger and garlic and green chillies to a smooth paste.
4. In a wide bowl, mix roasted and cooled gram flour, yogurt, ginger-garlic-green chilli paste, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste.
5. Marinate the chicken and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.(Note : I usually marinate overnight).
6. Place the chicken drumsticks on a microwave safe plate with thicker side facing outwards.
7. Cover with a cling film and cook on high for 5 minutes, turn over once. Again cover and cook on high for 3 minutes.
8. Finally uncover and cook on high for 2 minutes, leave it in the oven for 5 minutes before taking it out and Enjoy!
Serve hot sprinkled with chaat masala powder and lemon wedges.
