Hi Rachna,Sorry to hear that this didnt turn out well for you as you expected. It came out well for me and at least few readers gave positive feedback. I’m not sure why it happened for you. I’m sorry, I wish I could help you. May be you can try reducing the grated coconut. Hopefully that helps and color of a curry may be dependent on a lot of things. If you are using store bought spice powders, all varieties and brands are different and might impart different colors to a dish. Pls give it a try with less coconut and see if it works.Thank you much for your support and sharing your opinion.

    Thanks!

Have to say it did not taste like an egg curry. More like a coconut curry. I think the measurements in the recipe must be off. Too much coconut or too little masala. I didn’t get the color ur curry has. Mine looks like a dark yellow. I don’t think anyone in my family will eat it. Disappointed

Hi, Sorry to hear that it didn’t come out well for you. Personally it worked good for me and for my few readers too they didn’t have such an issue and you can see they gave positive feedback. So I assure you that it has nothing to do with the recipe.I have put lots of dedication and effort to make sure the recipe work for everyone. Although every effort has been done to review each recipe carefully, you may not always achieve the results desired due to variations in individual efforts, ingredients, etc. I advice to always use your best judgment when adding spices and also this recipe doesn't call for any water though it is added when griding the coconut and If needed, thin with a little of water to get the right consistency for the dish you are making.
    Thanks for sharing your feedback.

My husband wanted to impress me (poort thing), and tried the exact amount and way of cooking as you had explained…and the dish did NOT come out good at all, he himself ended up eating the whites and threw away the rest of the curry! I myself doubted as to how you can make a curry that has 1 large onion, 1 cup of coconut, 1 tomatoe and all that with 1/2 tsp of chilli powder and 1 tsp of corriander powder .. and you have not also said to add any water.. but the dish you have presented sure does look watery! I feel like the recipe and the picture does not go hand in hand!

Sorry to know that it didnt turn out well for you as you expected. It came out well for me and for few of my readers who tried this. This recipe dosen't call for fennel seeds or garam masala. It's simple egg curry if you prefer garam maskla taste in this, you can add it 🙂 It depends on your taste… Thanks for letting me know your feedback.

    Cheers!
