Chocolate French Toast – How to make Chocolate French Toast

French toast will be fun and exciting especially when you are like me, who are tired of waking up to make a lengthy old fashioned breakfast. French toasts are the next universal breakfast and it is very easy to make once you understand their origin, they are basically bread that are dipped with eggs and then browned/grilled. Knowing the basics of the French toast, I bet you can make your own simple versions.

Here I’m sharing my kids favorite chocolate french toast. It’s excellent lunch box recipe too Chocolates are not just for kids, they are a favorite for a lot of people, whatever age they are. It is definitely good news to hear that chocolates can be eaten in your breakfast. As you can see, it’s pretty easy to customize it with whatever strikes your fancy! So try and enjoy chocolate for breakfast with a simple recipe Chocolate French Toast.

Chocolate French Toast Recipe



Ingredients :
Thick sliced bread : 8-10

Eggs : 2
Milk : 1/2 cup
Sugar : 2 tbsp or to  taste
Cocoa Powder : 2 tbsp
Vanilla extract : 3 drops (optional)
Butter : 1 tbsp
Salt to taste


How to make Chocolate French Toast:

1. In a bowl, beat eggs and add milk, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt and mix all thoroughly.
2. Heat griddle/skillet on medium-low heat.Grease griddle with butter.
3. Dip bread in egg mixture and place on griddle.Cook for 4 minutes, flipping both sides.
4. Serve immediately with powdered sugar and enjoy!

    tried ur chocolate french toast for breakfast today……….it was so yummy……..i ve made french toast befor but never added coca powder and vanila essence ….that twist really added the taste …………thk u for sharing this receipe for us….happy cooking …….
