Hi Everyone, Here is the cooking conversion chart for your quick reference, finally!

I’ve been getting lot of questions about measurements & temperature used in my recipes for long time. I try my best to answer each and  every questions but due to my busy schedule sometimes I’m unable to answer on time. So, I thought to update most of the conversions you need in the kitchen for quick reference. I hope you find this conversion chart page useful and informative.

I live in US, so I always use US cups and spoon measurements. All conversions mentioned here are approximate and most have been rounded up to the nearest whole number.

35 to 50 cloves. 4 to 5  bulb

1 small clove = 1/2 to 1 tsp (minced) = 1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 medium-size clove = 1 to 1 1/2 tsp (minced) = 1/4 tsp  garlic powder
1 large clove = 2 to 2 1/2 tsp (minced) = 1/2 tsp garlic powder

On average, 1-inch of root = 1 tbs of grated ginger or chopped

Above conversion chart table is loosely adapted from here  and I use this one all the time. It is an excellent ingredients specific chart and there are many online metric conversion calculators that can give you right conversions and I use this.
